Samuel Wong, Managing Director, Finance
As Managing Director, Finance, “Sammy” assists with general administration and internal financial matters of the Company. In addition, he also assists on client projects within the Capital Advisors business unit.
Mr. Wong joined O’Meara Ferguson from Owens Corning where he was America’s Finance Director in charge of all Financial, Treasury and Accounting matters for this $1 Billion Division.
Prior to this role, he spent 16 years at Ford Motor Company holding a variety of positions including Small Car Vehicle Line Controller, Commodities-Foreign Exchange Risk Manager, and was in charge of the Capital Structure of the Automotive Company. During his tenure at Ford, Mr. Wong served as the lead Hispanic Recruiter for Finance, obtained two patents, and received a Ford Technical Achievement Award.
He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Sammy is fluent in Spanish.
