Koren Ruiz, Executive Consultant

Koren Ruiz brings a variety of skills and experiences to his O’Meara Ferguson clients. A native Spanish speaker, prior to joining O’Meara Ferguson, over the last sixteen years Koren has served as a multi-cultural educator, youth minister, choir director, school administrator, and financial consultant.

Since joining O’Meara Ferguson Koren has provided capital stewardship campaign consulting, Stewardship Enhancement Initiatives and workshops, and parish leadership team training on fundraising based on the principles of Christian stewardship at multiple English speaking and bilingual parishes. He has led many successful fundraising campaigns in the Archdioceses of Milwaukee WI, the Archdioceses of Louisville KY, the Diocese of Las Cruces NM, and the Archdiocese of Detroit, MI. He is also a popular speaker at Stewardship conferences and has produced a number of podcasts on stewardship for the Latino population.

Koren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Organizational Psychology from Western Oregon University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Portland.

Koren is a published composer with Oregon Catholic Press, and co-directs a very active music ministry with his wife, Jessica. Koren and his wife reside in Troutdale, Oregon with their two children, Axel and Levin.
