John Weiss, Executive Consultant
John brings over thirty years of administrative and management experience with various Catholic Church organizations and the Tenth District Federal Reserve Bank. His leadership responsibilities ranged from personnel recruitment and selection and budgetary planning to program development and marketing. He has extensive experience leading and working with boards. Parish and parochial school strategic planning and development are particular interests.
John has been a part of two Archdiocesan capital campaigns, working with parishes in the Archdioceses of Indianapolis and Milwaukee. His communication, listening, teamwork and writing skills have been put to effective use as a member of O’Meara, Ferguson teams conducting capital campaign feasibility studies in the Archdiocese of Louisville, the Dioceses of Saginaw and Las Cruces and for the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. Stewardship education is a key part of the O’Meara, Ferguson mission. John also brings extensive experience in this area, most recently having collaborated with the Office of Stewardship of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
John lives in Kansas City, Missouri where he attends Guardian Angels parish and roots for the hometown Royals and Chiefs. He received a BA in Philosophy from Conception Seminary and did graduate work in communications at Loyola University in New Orleans. John is a past recipient of the Conception Seminary College Distinguished Alumnus Award.
