Al Oliver, Senior Executive Consultant

Al Oliver blends his experience in church administration with his pastoral style to build caring and successful relationships with his clients. With more than 35 years in ministry and church consultation, his wealth of knowledge and experience in stewardship and capital fundraising is invaluable.

Al served as a member of the consulting team that raised $243 million in the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Millennium Campaign (1999-2003). Since that time he has consulted with over a hundred parishes, schools and other faith-based ministries, including one parish in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis that was successful in raising six times its annual offertory income under Al’s leadership. He has also led a national campaign for one nationwide ministry organization. One of Al’s greatest areas of expertise is in organizing and conducting donor engagement and planning studies, providing clients with in-depth analysis and assessment of campaign readiness and potential.

Al holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social work and psychology from the University of Washington and a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Al and his wife Kathy live in Idaho and have three adult children. Al is inspired by the beauty and solitude of the Northern Rockies, where he can be found hiking in the summers and snowshoeing in the winters.
